“One thing I was surprised to learn about myself was that the writing I find to be most successful is my comedic writing. Before I always considered myself to be a dramatic writer. Many of the playwrights, actors, and directors I met offered me great advice and support when we needed critiques for any new play. Not only do I feel that I'm a better playwright, but hanging around actors and directors make me want to learn and do more than just write. The theater world is so much broader than you can imagine from just one point of view. Many of the professionals on the panel wear more than one hat. Guess it's time for me to start doing so too.”
